Staffordshire University - Chengdu University of Technology

Our very first programme began to accept students in September 2005 following a considerable planning and validation period. The programme is highly successful, maintaining strict academic standards and a very high quality of teaching, with students now achieving some good results. Our first cohort of students graduates in June 2008.

Sichuan Education Services Centre for International Exchange

The Sichuan Education Services Centre for International Exchange, a department of the Education Department of Sichuan Province, invited us to provide a top-up programme to enable students from Chinese 3-year diploma programmes to travel to the UK for masters study. Students who successfully achieve their diploma and meet the language requirements are guaranteed a place in the UK.

Southwest Jiaotong University & Staffordshire University 2+2 and 3+1 programmes

Staffordshire University (SU) and Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) have taken part in a credit matching exercise and recognise and accept each other's modules as being equivalent. Second or third year students of Southest Jiaotong University with appropriate language skills can travel to Staffordshire University in the UK for direct entry into level 2 or level 3 of matching undergraduate courses and study for a UK degree. As Southwest Jiaotong University also recognises SU's courses students who pass the UK programme will also be awarded a Bachelor’s Degree from Southwest Jiaotong University.

This programme is now recruiting students for September 2008 entry.
